Someone posted on a forum asking how to set up billing and went for verotel because they didn’t have a long QC process.

Nothing wrong with Verotel, but by only going with them, you’re making a mistake.

There are two big Internet Payment Service Providers, (IPSPs) Epoch and CCBill. Both been around over 10 years, both good and reliable. Then there are a couple of smaller ones like Segpay, Zombiabiioioi etc that will offer you a much lower rate at a much higher risk.

A few years ago they Epoch and CCBill started playing nicely together with cascading billing. This means if you try and join a site via CCBIll and CCBill refuse your card, your deets get parsed to Epoch and they might well accept it.

This alone will add 10% to your bottom line.

They both have different scrubs (the software they use to say if they think it is fraud or not), so one may accept a card the other declines. And viceversa. They also will now parse affiliate codes. So you can get paid out on an Epoch sale if you sent traffic to a CCBill join. All good.

Easy to set up, easy to implement.

Then you add a third payment like Segpay so you can pick up anything the two big guys refuse.

Also, here is a massive tip, unless you do two joins a month, remember that an IPSP’s rate is ALWAYS negotiable. So just ask for a discount. You’ll get one.

I put together about 14 sites for a client to create traffic and stuck google analytics on them. I submitted ONE of them to the URL linkage above and waited. About 5 days later, that one site had started getting natural google traffic and none of the others did.

So there you go. Today’s tip is submit new sites to google.

You have a pay site. You put a “Work for us” button at the bottom by the 2257 etc. That sends the girl to a site where she can apply. You decide you don’t want her. She gets put into the system and gets offered work doing text chat for 32p a message (three times the going rate). She is really happy getting VERY easy work that pays so well that she can do when doing other things.

Cool?

Not bad, but what if YOU got 32p each time she earned 32p too? So you refer a girl and you get 100% of her earnings.

Fucking hell, how good is that?

Or if you just want to push the service to the girls you have on your books, you’d also make 100% of their earnings.

It’s a no-brainer, right? Everyone will want some of that.

Do not underestimate the power of plain text emails.

(Sidebar: I usually make them HTML so I can track opens and clicks, but make them APPEAR to the surfer as plain text)

Anyhoo, you get your idea for your brilliant creative email. You craft the copy, you do wireframes, you hand it off to your designer who makes it beautiful, you mail it and wait for the response. And it isn’t as good as you wanted.

Take the list, segment the people that opened and didn’t click and send them a (quasi) plain text email.

If someone posts snark aimed at you, they are trying to get a rise out of you. So if you respond by attacking them personally, lying about them and libeling their business, they just realise they have masterfully controlled you into being annoyed and posting proving you are annoyed.

If you just laugh at them and point out how obvious their trolling is they tend to stop.

Remember, life is too short to actually get annoyed about what someone you don’t know, don’t care about, and don’t like thinks about you and what you enjoy doing.

Paul Markham in a hilarious stalky move, decided to put a link to a video I made in his sig. The anchor text was something along the lines of:

See Fat Stupid Loser LOL He is STUPIDLOL!

Or words to that effect.

Over the last 3 weeks he has sent that video 25 clicks. Yes, 25. In THREE WEEKS.

Sigs are like email subject lines. Make the copy interesting and people will click. I made mine

And it has had 486 clicks, and generated 780 page views.

So, the lesson here, is to make your sig something people would want to click on. And lo and behold, they will click on it.

You need to make your email.

You need to send it to ALL the main free mail places and check it doesn’t look like this:

I’m surprised FTV don’t pay more attention to this sort of thing.
